The fluorescent lamps that were installed in your Dome It® light are 40 watt size T12 or 30 watt T12. Replacement lamps are available for you our showroom.  We have installed three different colors of lamps to meet our customers needs: Cool White, Warm White and Day Light.  When you replace these lamps be careful to purchase the same color (or temperature) of lamp that you are replacing.  Our Day Light Lamps are Phillips Ultralume Alto 850 and they are difficult to find at home centers.  We have these lamps in inventory and they retail for $16.99 ea for 40W and $19.99 for 30W.

Having to frequently change the lamp in any one fixture, may be a symptom of a worn out or faulty ballast.  The fixtures that we installed in your Dome It®  light have electromagnetic energy saving ballasts.  These ballasts normally last between 5-7 years, depending on individual usage.  If your light is over ten years old you might consider preventative maintenance and replace all of the ballasts in your Dome It®  light.  The retail price of these replacement ballasts is $59.95 ea.

Plastic change is key to keeping your Dome It® Light looking bright and beautiful.  The photo right is the color the lighting panels become after a number of years in service.  Trust us there is no amount of scrubbing that can clean these panels back to the original white color.

In home service with one of our electricians is charged at $95.00 per hour with a one hour minimum.  To increase the value of a visit by one of our electricians we have created some Dome It® Lighting Packages: 1) Combine a plastic change with all new ballasts and lamps and the package price is $259.00 for a 4x6 size Dome It® light Regular Retail pricing $ 440.51. 2) Upgrade to state of the art electronic ballasts and T8 lamps, call for quote.
